WHAT IS THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF ACUPUNCTURE (ASA)?

The ASA exists through state level acupuncture associations to unite licensed acupuncturists nationally, and to champion acupuncture as a medicine at state and federal level while protecting professional interests, increasing access for patients, and informing the public.  Their mission is advancing the professional practice of acupuncture as a whole system of medicine through advocacy, education, and research with the vision of being partners in the American healthcare system. 

HOW CAN I BECOME A MEMBER?

Joining our association is simple!  We offer many different membership options; Student, Associate, Supporting Member and 3 Professional tiers.  Professional Membership can be paid annually and automatically renewed.  Just select the appropriate membership option outlined above and pay online, or you can pay by check by contacting treasurer@amaaz.org.  You may also contact secretary@amaaz.org for complete assistance with the process.  If you would like other assistance, please email president@amaaz.org.

Individuals, Entities, or Chinese medicine practitioners, who have graduated from an accredited Chinese medical college, but do not hold an active L.Ac license to practice, whom wish to support AMAAZ. Includes supporting the purposes of AMAAZ, Legislative Representation, and ASA dual membership. Does not include a listing in the “Provider Directory.” These members are not allowed to hold office in AMAAZ.
